April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024 Day of Prayer Recipient

Joint Parish Agreement – Herington, Kansas

Three churches in the Herington, Kansas community: Our Redeemer, Immanuel, and St John Parish, have formed a Joint Parish Agreement in order to bring the lost and erring to know the Gospel of our Risen Savior. The need exists for assimilation among the congregants, to evangelize the lost, and to demonstrate God’s love and mercy in the rural area and municipality of Herington Kansas.

The community of Herington, Kansas has many unchurched individuals as witnessed by Vacation Bible School attendance as well as the preschool at Our Redeemer. Church planting takes resources to remain vital in this community.

The Day of Prayer offering from April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024 will be used to purchase religious educational materials for joint use for inreach and outreach projects to encourage people of all ages to know Christ through continued assimilation and evangelism.
